The exam is a filter, not a verdict on you.
Lakhs sit for civil services every year and a few hundred get in. Everyone knows this number and almost nobody plans around it. We think that is the single most damaging silence in this industry — because the aspirant who has a second route stays calmer, studies better, and often clears the first exam anyway.

Your syllabus already overlaps
Polity, history, geography, economy, current affairs and aptitude are the backbone of almost every government exam in India. Switching targets is usually a change of pattern and speed, not a change of subject.
